of <h1>Central Government Extends 'Education and Health Support Scheme' Eligibility Under Section 35AC for Three More Years</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of the 'Education and Health support Scheme for Children of poor and socially marginalized class' by Nav Bharat Jagriti Kendra as an eligible project under section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Initially notified in 2003 and extended twice, the project is now approved for an additional three years starting from the financial year 2012-13. The project, located in District Hazaribag, Jharkhand, will continue with an unchanged approved cost of Rs. 39.00 lakh, following recommendations from the National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare.
