of <h1>New Customs Notification Sets Exchange Rates for Foreign Currencies into Indian Rupees Effective August 1, 2004</h1> Notification No. 90/2004-Customs(NT) issued on 27th July 2004, under the Customs Act, 1962, supersedes the previous notification No. 81/2004-NT-Customs. Effective from 1st August 2004, it establishes the exchange rates for converting specified foreign currencies into Indian rupees for imported goods. The rates are as follows: Australian Dollar at 33.10, Canadian Dollar at 35.25, Danish Kroner at 7.60, Euro at 56.45, Hong Kong Dollar at 5.95, Norwegian Kroner at 6.65, Pound Sterling at 85.40, Swedish Kroner at 6.15, Swiss Franc at 36.85, Singapore Dollar at 27.00, US Dollar at 46.50, and Japanese Yen at 42.45.
