of <h1>Desur Added as Recognized Port for Import and Export under Customs Act, 1962, Notification No. 89/2004-CUSTOMS (N.T.)</h1> Desur, District Belgaum has been designated as a port for the unloading of imported goods and the loading of export goods. This change is made under the Customs Act, 1962, through an amendment to the Government of India's notification No. 12/97-CUSTOMS (N.T.), dated April 2, 1997. The amendment is listed under serial number 6 for the State of Karnataka, adding Desur to the list of recognized ports. This update was issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, and is recorded in Notification No. 89/2004-CUSTOMS (N.T.), dated July 21, 2004.
