of <h1>India Amends Tariff Values: Brass Scrap at $4214/MT, Poppy Seeds at $2439/MT; Others Unchanged Under Notification 19/2012</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance's Central Board of Excise and Customs, issued an amendment to Notification No. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.) concerning tariff values for specific goods. This amendment, detailed in Notification No. 19/2012-CUSTOMS (N.T.), maintains existing tariff values for crude palm oil, RBD palm oil, other palm oils, crude palmolein, RBD palmolein, other palmolein, crude soyabean oil, gold, and silver. However, the tariff value for brass scrap is set at $4214 per metric tonne and for poppy seeds at $2439 per metric tonne. The amendment was published on March 15, 2012.
