of <h1>Customs Notification Amended: Tiruchirapalli, Varanasi Added for Tourist Flight Baggage Handling under Customs Act, 1962.</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs has amended Notification No. 61/94-Customs (N.T.) dated November 21, 1994. The amendments include the addition of Tiruchirapalli and Varanasi to the list of locations in paragraph (2). In Tamil Nadu, for Tiruchirapalli, the amendments allow for the handling of baggage from tourist chartered flights and the loading of certain Indian goods. In Uttar Pradesh, for Varanasi, the amendments permit the unloading of baggage from tourist chartered flights. These changes reflect updates to customs procedures under the Customs Act, 1962.
