of <h1>India Updates Tariff Values for Oils, Brass Scrap, and Poppy Seeds; Gold and Silver Values Unchanged Per Notification 11/2012.</h1> The Government of India, through the Central Board of Excise and Customs, has issued Notification No. 11/2012-Customs (N.T.), amending Notification No. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.) regarding tariff values. The amendment updates the tariff values for various commodities, including crude palm oil, RBD palm oil, crude palmolein, RBD palmolein, crude soybean oil, brass scrap, and poppy seeds. The notification also maintains the tariff values for gold and silver, as specified in a previous notification. These changes are published in the Gazette of India and are effective from February 15, 2012.
