of <h1>Government Extends SEZ Benefits Implementation Date to May 11, 2004, per Section 126 of Finance Act 2002.</h1> The Central Government has extended the implementation date for Special Economic Zone (SEZ) benefits from May 1, 2004, to May 11, 2004. This amendment modifies the earlier notification No. 43/2003-CUSTOMS (N.T) issued on July 22, 2003. The extension is authorized under section 126 of the Finance Act, 2002. The change is officially documented in Notification No. 57/2004 - Customs (N.T.), dated April 30, 2004, and published in the Gazette of India. The Under Secretary to the Government of India, V. Kezo, issued this notification under file number F. No. 314/24/2001-FTT.
