of <h1>India Updates Tariff Values for Brass Scrap and Poppy Seeds; No Change for Other Listed Goods.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance and the Central Board of Excise and Customs, issued Notification No. 63/2011-CUSTOMS (N.T.) on August 30, 2011, amending Notification No. 36/2001-Customs(N.T.). This amendment pertains to the fixation of tariff values for certain goods, including crude palm oil, RBD palm oil, crude palmolein, RBD palmolein, crude soybean oil, brass scrap, and poppy seeds. The tariff values for these items remain unchanged except for brass scrap and poppy seeds, which are set at $4355 and $2281 per metric tonne, respectively.
