of <h1>Govt of India amends notification under Companies Act 1956, correcting name error from Prof. R.M. Goyala to Prof. R.N. Goyale.</h1> The Government of India, Ministry of Law, Justice and Company Affairs, Department of Company Affairs issued an amendment to a previous notification (S.O. 841(E) dated 29th August 2001) under the Companies Act, 1956. The amendment, published as S.O. 169(E) on 6th February 2002, corrects an error in the original notification by changing the name 'Prof. R.M. Goyala' to 'Professor R.N. Goyale' at serial number 8. This change was authorized by the Central Government under section 210A of the Companies Act, 1956.
