<h1>Rule 10B Amended: Director Meeting Fees Capped at 5,000 Under Section 310, Effective April 1, 2000.</h1> The Department of Company Affairs issued a notification amending the Companies (Central Government's) General Rules and Forms, 1956. Effective from April 1, 2000, rule 10B is substituted to specify that, under section 310, the remuneration by way of fee for each meeting of the Board of Directors or a committee thereof shall not exceed five thousand rupees. This amendment is made under the authority granted by section 642(1) of the Companies Act, 1956.
