of <h1>Foreign Currency Exchange Rates for Imports Updated Under Notification No. 22/2004 - Customs (N.T.) Effective March 1, 2004</h1> Effective from March 1, 2004, the exchange rates for various foreign currencies concerning imported goods have been updated under Notification No. 22/2004 - Customs (N.T.), superseding the previous notification No. 10/2004-NT-Customs. As per the Customs Act, 1962, the conversion rates for currencies such as the Australian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, Euro, and US Dollar, among others, are specified. For example, one US Dollar is set at 45.45 Indian Rupees, and 100 Japanese Yen is equivalent to 41.85 Indian Rupees. This notification is issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue.
