of <h1>India Revises Brass Scrap Tariff Value to 4323 USD/MT; Other Goods Unchanged Per Customs Act, 1962.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has issued Notification No. 38/2011, amending Notification No. 36/2001 regarding customs tariff values for certain goods. As per the amendment, the tariff values for Crude Palm Oil, RBD Palm Oil, other Palm Oils, Crude Palmolein, RBD Palmolein, other Palmolein, Crude Soyabean Oil, and Poppy seeds remain unchanged. However, the tariff value for Brass Scrap (all grades) is set at 4323 USD per metric tonne. This amendment is made under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, and is published in the Gazette of India.
