<h1>India Raises Minimum Export Price for Onions to $200/MT; Bangalore Rose, Krishnapuram Varieties Unchanged at $350/MT</h1> The Government of India has amended the Minimum Export Price (MEP) for onions under the Foreign Trade Policy 2009-2014. The MEP for onions, excluding Bangalore Rose and Krishnapuram varieties, is set at US$ 200 per Metric Ton F.O.B., increased from US$ 170 as previously notified. The MEP for Bangalore Rose and Krishnapuram onions remains unchanged at US$ 350 per Metric Ton F.O.B. This amendment is effective immediately and replaces previous notifications regarding the MEP for onions.
