of <h1>Mid Day Meal Project by Iskcon in Madhya Pradesh Extended Under Sec 35AC, Cost Revised to Rs. 12.14 Crore</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of the Mid Day Meal project by Iskcon Food Relief Foundation in Madhya Pradesh under Section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Initially approved for two years starting in 2008-09, the project is now extended for three additional years from 2010-11 to 2012-13. The project cost has been revised from Rs. 4.72 crore to Rs. 12.14 crore. However, no tax deduction certificates will be issued for the financial year 2010-11 as it has already lapsed.
