of <h1>India Lowers Minimum Export Price for Bangalore Rose and Krishnapuram Onions to $350 per Metric Ton</h1> The Government of India has amended the Minimum Export Price (MEP) for Bangalore Rose Onions and Krishnapuram Onions. The MEP has been set at US$ 350 per Metric Ton F.O.B., effective immediately, replacing the previous price of US$ 600 per Metric Ton as of March 23, 2011. This adjustment is made under the authority of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, and the Foreign Trade Policy 2009-2014. The change was issued by the Director General of Foreign Trade and will be published in the Gazette of India.
