of <h1>India Amends Customs Notification to Include Bevacizumab in Duty Exemption List, Effective May 10, 2011.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has issued Notification No. 39/2011-Customs, amending Notification No. 21/2002-Customs. This amendment, effective from May 10, 2011, involves the inclusion of the item 'Bevacizumab' in List 3 of the notification table, under the exemption and effective rate of basic and additional duty for specified goods from Chapter 1 to 99. This change is made under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, in the interest of public welfare. The principal notification, initially published on March 1, 2002, has undergone several amendments, with the most recent prior amendment being on April 15, 2011.
