of <h1>India Extends Re-Export Period for Goods from 3 to 6 Months Under Customs Act, 1962, Effective February 2011.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has issued Notification No. 9/2011-Customs, amending Notification No. 13/2010-Customs dated 19th February 2010. This amendment extends the period allowed for re-export of goods from three months to six months. This change is made under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, and is deemed necessary in the public interest. The amendment is officially recorded in the Gazette of India and is effective from 14th February 2011.
