<h1>India Sets New Customs Exchange Rates for Foreign Currencies Effective February 1, 2011, Replacing Previous Notification</h1> Notification No. 6/2011-Customs (N.T.) issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, Central Board of Excise and Customs, determines the exchange rates for converting foreign currencies into Indian Rupees for customs purposes, effective from February 1, 2011. The rates are specified for both imported and export goods in two schedules. Schedule I lists rates for individual foreign currencies like the US Dollar, Euro, and Pound Sterling, while Schedule II provides rates for 100 units of the Japanese Yen. This notification supersedes the previous notification No. 102/2010-Customs (N.T.).
