of <h1>India Appoints Common Adjudicating Authority for Customs Matters Involving M/s Karam Impex Under Customs Act, 1962</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has appointed the Additional Commissioner or Joint Commissioner of Customs in Ludhiana as the Common Adjudicating Authority. This authority will handle matters related to a show cause notice involving M/s Karam Impex and others. The authority will exercise powers and duties of the Additional or Joint Commissioners of Customs at Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust in Mumbai, Inland Container Depot in Loni, Ghaziabad, and Inland Container Depot in Tughlaqabad, New Delhi. This appointment is made under the provisions of the Customs Act, 1962.
