of <h1>Government Extends Tax Benefit for Vadodara Hospital Project Under Section 35AC, Valid Until 2012-13, Cost Unchanged</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of the 'Construction of 76 Bed Multi Speciality Hospital' project by Lakulish International Fellowship's Enlightenment (Life) Mission in Vadodara under Section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Initially recognized in 2004, the project has received successive extensions, with the latest approval extending it for three more years from the financial year 2010-11 to 2012-13. The approved project cost remains unchanged at Rs. 260.63 lakh. The National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare recommended this extension, confirming the project's proper execution.
