of <h1>India Exempts Brunei Crude Oils from Customs Duty Over 1% with ASEAN-India Trade Proof Requirement, 2010 Notification.</h1> The Government of India, under Notification No. 116/2010-Customs dated November 1, 2010, exempts crude petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals imported from Brunei Darussalam from customs duty exceeding 1% ad valorem. This exemption is contingent upon the importer proving the goods' origin from Brunei Darussalam in accordance with the ASEAN-India Preferential Trade Agreement rules. This notification was later superseded by Notification No. 63/2012-Customs on December 31, 2012.
