of <h1>Central Government Notifies 10.1175-hectare IT SEZ in Jaipur, Rajasthan; Approval Committee Formed for Oversight</h1> The Central Government has notified a 10.1175-hectare area at Village Jamdoli, Tehsil-Jaipur, Rajasthan, as a Sector Specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for information technology and IT-enabled services, proposed by a private company under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. An Approval Committee has been constituted, including government officials and a representative from the developing company, to oversee the SEZ's operations. The SEZ will be recognized as an Inland Container Depot/Port under the Customs Act, 1962, effective from 2010.
