<h1>India Eases Wheat Export Ban, Approves 200,000 Metric Tons to Bangladesh via Public Sector Units STC & PEC Ltd.</h1> The Government of India, under the Foreign Trade Policy, has amended the prohibition on wheat export to allow the export of 200,000 metric tons of wheat to Bangladesh. This exemption is facilitated through the Food Corporation of India, with 100,000 metric tons each to be exported by two public sector undertakings, M/s. STC and M/s. PEC Ltd. No other changes have been made to the existing notification regarding wheat export restrictions. This decision is issued in the public interest by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
