of <h1>India Lifts Export Ban for 300,000 Metric Tonnes of Parboiled Non-Basmati Rice to Bangladesh via PSUs</h1> The Government of India amended its notification to allow the export of 300,000 metric tonnes of parboiled non-basmati rice to Bangladesh, exempting it from the existing export ban. This export will be conducted through designated Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) such as STC and PEC. Specific varieties of non-basmati rice, including Sona Masuri, Ponni Samba, and Matta, are permitted for export in specified quantities. The exports are subject to conditions, including procurement at market prices close to the Minimum Support Price (MSP) and compliance with guidelines from the Department of Commerce. All other provisions of the prior notification remain unchanged.
