Initially approved for three years starting in the 2002-03 assessment year, the project received extensions in 2005 and 2008. Based on recommendations from the National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare, the project is now extended for another three years, covering the financial years 2010-11, 2011-12, and 2012-13, with an approved cost of Rs. 197.00 lakh.
