of <h1>Govt Amends Edible Oil Export Rules: Allows Branded Packs Up to 5kg, Total Limit 10,000 Tons (Nov 2009-Oct 2010)</h1> The Central Government has amended previous notifications regarding the export of edible oils, allowing export in branded consumer packs of up to 5 kg, with a total export limit of 10,000 tons between November 1, 2009, and October 31, 2010. These exports are permitted only through Customs EDI Ports. This amendment is issued in the public interest and modifies earlier notifications from 2008 and 2009 under the Foreign Trade Policy 2009-2014.
