<h1>New Customs Notification Sets Exchange Rates for Export Goods Effective September 1, 2003, Superseding Previous Rates</h1> Notification No. 68/2003 - Customs (N.T.) issued on 26th August 2003, under the Customs Act, 1962, sets the exchange rates for foreign currencies related to export goods effective from 1st September 2003. This supersedes the previous notification No. 59/2003-NT-Customs dated 28th July 2003. The exchange rates for various currencies against the Indian Rupee are specified in two schedules. Schedule I lists rates for one unit of currencies like the US Dollar at 45.65 INR and the Euro at 49.55 INR, while Schedule II provides the rate for 100 units of the Japanese Yen at 38.85 INR.
