of <h1>Approval for Botanical Survey of India under Income-tax Act Section 10(2)(xiii) Withdrawn Effective January 1981</h1> The approval granted to the Botanical Survey of India, Calcutta, under section 10(2)(xiii) of the Income-tax Act, 1922, has been withdrawn. This decision, effective from January 13, 1981, follows the recommendation of the Secretary of the Department of Science & Technology, New Delhi. The original approval was granted by notification No.34, effective from November 23, 1946. The withdrawal is documented in Notification Number 2518, dated February 17, 1981, under File Number 203/15/81-ITA-II.
