<h1>New Customs Exchange Rates Set for Currency Conversion Effective September 2003 under Notification No. 67/2003</h1> Notification No. 67/2003 - Customs (N.T.), dated 26th August 2003, issued by the Board under the Customs Act, 1962, sets the exchange rates for converting foreign currencies into Indian Rupees for imported goods, effective from 1st September 2003. This supersedes the previous notification No. 58/2003-NT-Customs. Schedule I lists rates for individual foreign currencies like the US Dollar at 46.00 INR and the Euro at 50.10 INR. Schedule II specifies the rate for 100 units of the Japanese Yen at 39.20 INR. These rates apply for customs valuation purposes.
