of <h1>Notification Date for SEZs Amended from August 15, 2003, to October 15, 2003, per Finance Act, Section 126.</h1> The effective date for notifications concerning various Special Economic Zones (SEZs) has been changed from August 15, 2003, to October 15, 2003. This amendment is made under the powers granted by section 126 of the Finance Act, 2002, altering the original notification No. 43/2003-CUSTOMS (N.T) issued on July 22, 2003. The change is officially documented in Notification No. 62/2003 - Customs (N.T.), dated August 14, 2003, and was published in the Gazette of India. The amendment is authorized by the Central Government and communicated by the Under Secretary to the Government of India.
