of <h1>India Amends Foreign Trade Policy to Ban Exports/Imports Related to DPRK's WMD Programs per UNSC Guidelines</h1> The Government of India has amended Paragraph 2.1.2 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2009-2014, prohibiting the direct or indirect export and import of certain items to or from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK). This includes materials, equipment, goods, and technology that could contribute to DPRK's nuclear, ballistic missile, or other weapons of mass destruction-related programs. The amendment aligns with United Nations Security Council and International Atomic Energy Agency documents. This notification is issued in the public interest by the Director General of Foreign Trade and Ex Officio Additional Secretary to the Government of India.
