of <h1>India Amends Customs Notifications for TPS and DFCE Schemes to Update Policies and Ensure Compliance</h1> The Government of India has issued Notification No. 105/2009 - Customs, amending previous notifications under the TPS and DFCE schemes. These amendments, made under the Customs Act, 1962, are intended to serve the public interest. The changes affect notifications 53/2003, 32/2005, and 73/2006, exempting certain goods imported by status holders in the marine and other sectors against Duty Credit Certificates. These amendments update the language to reflect current policies and ensure compliance with the Export and Import Policy and the Foreign Trade Policy.
