<h1>India Sets New Exchange Rates for Export Goods Effective June 1, 2003: Details for Major Currencies Announced</h1> Notification No. 36/2003 - Customs (N.T.), dated 27th May 2003, issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, establishes the exchange rates for various foreign currencies against the Indian Rupee effective from 1st June 2003, applicable to export goods. This supersedes the previous notification No. 31/2003-NT-Customs. The rates include 30.75 for Australian Dollar, 33.95 for Canadian Dollar, 55.15 for Euro, 76.55 for Pound Sterling, and 46.70 for US Dollar, among others. Additionally, 100 units of Japanese Yen are set at 39.95 INR.
