of <h1>Customs Notification Amended: Goods Under Serial 42B Now Exempt from Duty per Notification Nos. 176/2003 and 23/2002.</h1> The Central Government has issued Notification No. 176/2003-Customs, amending Notification No. 23/2002-Customs, dated March 1, 2002, under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. The amendment, effective from May 1, 2005, specifies that the provisions of the original notification will not apply to goods listed under serial number 42B. Additionally, a new entry, serial number 42B, has been added to the notification's table, relating to goods specified against serial number 252A in another notification, No. 21/2002-Customs, dated March 1, 2002, which are now exempt from customs duty.
