of <h1>India Imposes Provisional Safeguard Duty on Dimethoate Technical, Rescinds Earlier Notification No. 25/2009-Customs</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has issued Notification No. 88/2009-Customs, dated August 27, 2009, which rescinds the earlier Notification No. 25/2009-Customs from March 23, 2009. This action imposes a provisional safeguard duty on imports of Dimethoate Technical, under the authority of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 and the Customs Tariff (Identification and Assessment of Safeguard Duty) Rules, 1997. The rescission applies except for actions already completed under the previous notification.
