<h1>Central Government Amends Notification to Permit Unloading of Methanol and Low Sulphur Heavy Stock at Ranpar Port</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 62/94-Customs (N.T.) to allow the unloading of Methanol and Low Sulphur Heavy Stock imports at Ranpar, Maharashtra. This amendment, effective from July 29, 2002, was made under the authority of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962. The amendment adds Methanol and Low Sulphur Heavy Stock as permissible items for unloading at Ranpar, following item (v) in the existing notification. This change is documented in Notification No. 50/2002-Customs (N.T.) and was published in the Gazette of India.
