<h1>New Customs Notification Sets Exchange Rates for Currency Conversion in Exports, Effective June 1, 2002</h1> Notification No. 32/2002-Customs (N.T.), dated May 28, 2002, issued by the Central Board of Excise and Customs, supersedes Notification No. 23/2002-Cus. (N.T.). It establishes new exchange rates for converting specified foreign currencies into Indian rupees for export goods, effective June 1, 2002. The rates are detailed in two schedules: Schedule I lists the rates for one unit of various foreign currencies, including the US Dollar at 48.80 INR and the Euro at 44.90 INR. Schedule II specifies the rate for 100 units of the Japanese Yen at 39.05 INR.
