of <h1>India Exempts Agro-Chemical Goods from Customs Duties Under Notification No. 111/2003; Conditions Apply for Manufacturers</h1> The Central Government of India issued Notification No. 111/2003 on July 17, 2003, amending the previous notification No. 21/2002-Customs. This amendment exempts certain goods used in the Agro-Chemical sector from basic and additional customs duties. The exemption applies to manufacturers with a Research and Development wing registered with the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, provided they have an export turnover of at least Rupees Twenty Crores in the preceding financial year.
