<h1>New Customs Notification Sets Exchange Rates for Export Goods; US Dollar at 48.25, Euro at 42.25</h1> Notification No. 8/2002-Customs (N.T.), dated January 28, 2002, issued by the Central Government under the Customs Act, 1962, supersedes Notification No. 64/2001-Cus. (N.T.). It sets the exchange rates for converting specified foreign currencies into Indian Rupees for export goods, effective February 1, 2002. Schedule I lists individual foreign currencies with their respective exchange rates per unit, including the US Dollar at 48.25 and the Euro at 42.25. Schedule II provides rates for 100 units of certain currencies, such as the Japanese Yen at 35.75.
