of <h1>Customs Duty Reduced on Set-Top Boxes Until July 31, 2003; New Entries Added for Exemptions Under Notification 87/2003</h1> The Central Government has issued Notification No. 87/2003-Customs, dated May 28, 2003, amending a previous notification to reduce customs duty on set-top boxes. This reduction is valid until July 31, 2003. The notification amends the earlier Notification No. 23/2002-Customs, adding new entries in the table for goods under serial numbers 42A and 46A, which are exempt from customs duty. The exemption does not apply to goods specified under serial number 46A after August 1, 2003.
