This exemption applies to goods described in the notification, including gold and silver (excluding those studded with stones or pearls), various industrial machinery, aeroplane engines and parts, electronic components like floppy disk drives, hard disk drives, and CD-ROM drives, among others. The exemption is contingent upon conditions specified in the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, and related notifications. The exemption aims to alleviate customs charges on these imports.
