of <h1>India Imposes Anti-Dumping Duty on EPDM Rubber Imports from Japan to Protect Domestic Industry</h1> The notification imposes an anti-dumping duty on Ethylene Propylene Non-Conjugated Diene Rubber (EPDM rubber) originating from or exported by specified companies in Japan to India. The Designated Authority concluded that EPDM rubber was being imported at below normal value, causing material injury to the Indian industry. The Central Government, based on these findings, has set an anti-dumping duty equivalent to the difference between a specified amount per metric tonne and the landed value of imports. The duty applies to imports from specific exporters, including JSR Corporation and DSM Idemitsu Company Ltd., with different rates for other exporters.
