of <h1>India Imposes Provisional Anti-Dumping Duty on NBR Imports from Taiwan to Protect Local Industry</h1> The notification imposes a provisional anti-dumping duty on Acrylonitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) imported from Taiwan, under sub-heading No. 4002.59 of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. The Designated Authority found that NBR from Taiwan was being dumped in India at below normal value, causing material injury to the Indian industry. Consequently, the Central Government, following these preliminary findings, has levied an anti-dumping duty of 6288 Rs. per metric tonne on imports from specified exporters, effective until May 1, 2000.
