This measure follows a preliminary finding that Para cresol was being exported to India below normal value, causing material injury to the domestic industry. The duty is set at a rate equivalent to the difference between a specified amount and the landed value of the goods, calculated in US dollars per kilogram. The duty is payable in Indian currency, with the exchange rate determined by the Ministry of Finance notifications.
