<h1>New Customs Notification Sets Exchange Rates for Foreign Currencies to INR for Export Goods Effective June 2001</h1> Notification No. 25/2001 - Customs (N.T.) issued on 28th May 2001 supersedes Notification No. 18/2001-Cus. (N.T.) dated 25th April 2001, under the Customs Act, 1962. It establishes new exchange rates for converting specified foreign currencies into Indian Rupees for export goods, effective from 1st June 2001. Schedule I lists exchange rates for individual foreign currency units, including the US Dollar at 46.80 INR and the Euro at 40.10 INR. Schedule II provides rates for 100 units of certain currencies, such as the Japanese Yen at 39.00 INR.
