of <h1>New Customs Exchange Rates Effective April 1, 2001, Under Notification 14/2001-Customs, Superseding Previous Rates</h1> Notification No. 14/2001-Customs (N.T.) issued on 27th March 2001 supersedes Notification No. 5/2001-Cus. (N.T.) and establishes new exchange rates for export goods under the Customs Act, 1962. Effective from 1st April 2001, the exchange rates for various foreign currencies are specified. For instance, one Austrian Schilling is set at 3.00 INR, one US Dollar at 46.50 INR, and 100 Japanese Yen at 37.85 INR. These rates are applicable for converting foreign currencies into Indian Rupees or vice versa, as listed in the attached schedules.
