Technical updates only.</h1> The Central Government issued Notification No. 18/2003-Customs on January 24, 2003, under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. This notification amends all existing notifications under section 8B of the Act to align with the changes introduced by the Customs Tariff (Amendment) Ordinance, 2003. It updates references to the Chapter, heading, and sub-heading of the First Schedule to reflect the amended numbering scheme. These amendments are technical and do not alter the substance of existing notifications. The changes take effect from the commencement date of the Ordinance.
