of <h1>Amendments to Courier Imports & Exports Regulations: Expanded Transport Modes & New Forms Introduced Effective Immediately</h1> The Courier Imports and Exports (Clearance) Regulations, 1998 have been amended as per Notification No. 11/2001 - Customs (N.T) dated March 14, 2001. The amendments expand the scope of transport modes beyond flights to include other transport, update the list of applicable locations to include additional land customs stations, and revise various forms and terminologies used in the regulations. The changes also introduce new forms for courier bills of entry and export. These amendments are effective from the date of publication in the official gazette and aim to streamline and enhance the regulatory framework for courier imports and exports.
