of <h1>Central Government Amends Customs Notification for Vadinar Port; Updates Unloading and Loading Provisions for Essar Oil Project</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 62/94-Cus. (N.T.) under the Customs Act, 1962, concerning the appointment of a customs port in Gujarat. Specifically, changes have been made to the provisions related to Vadinar Port. The amendment allows for the unloading of imported goods such as crude petroleum and machinery, including project imports, for the Essar Oil Refinery Project. Additionally, it permits the loading of machinery and equipment imported for the same project. This modification is reflected in Notification No. 51/97-Cus. (N.T.), dated September 29, 1997.
