of <h1>New Currency Exchange Rates for Export Goods under Customs Act, 1962 Effective October 1, 2000</h1> This notification, effective from October 1, 2000, establishes the exchange rates for converting specified foreign currencies into Indian Rupees for export goods, as per the Customs Act, 1962. It supersedes the previous notification dated August 28, 2000. The rates are detailed in two schedules: Schedule I lists the exchange rate of one unit of various foreign currencies, including the US Dollar at 45.90 INR and the Euro at 40.15 INR; Schedule II provides the exchange rate for 100 units of certain currencies, such as the Japanese Yen at 42.55 INR.
