It supersedes the previous notification dated August 28, 2000. The rates are detailed in two schedules: Schedule I lists the exchange rate of one unit of various foreign currencies, including the US Dollar at 45.90 INR and the Euro at 40.15 INR; Schedule II provides the exchange rate for 100 units of certain currencies, such as the Japanese Yen at 42.55 INR.
